Activity Indicator

Please find attached the latest edition of our Activity Indicator based on our office agency activities across the West End. This covers the first five months of 2008 and will continue to be expanded on a monthly basis going forward. Definitions outlining what has been included and why are shown on the report itself but if you require clarification, please let us know.
Highlights this month are:
Disposals
- The number of inspections has decreased again and for last month was at half the level than for January.
- Once again, we have brought little or no space on to the mark.
When looking at the number of our active instructions it should be noted that we only count an address once regardless of the number of units available. For instance, at 96 Baker Street, we launched four floors earlier this year but only two are currently available, one of the two available floors at 3-8 Carburton Street has been let and one of the floors at Regent Gate, Conduit Street is under offer. This pattern has been repeated elsewhere so in reality we have less space to show people than was previously the case.
Acquisitions
- The number of active searches we are handling has continued to rise .
- This is particularly notable for smaller space.
It should be noted that several names have been removed from the list due to their going under offer for new properties. It continues to be a challenge to find suitable properties for many of these potential movers due to low levels of supply and with little stock coming available in the near future this situation is likely to continue.
