On behalf of long standing clients, Look Ahead Housing & Care we are pleased to announce the sale of 7 Dock Street.
We have now exchanged unconditional contracts for the sale of Dock Street, a 68,500 sq ft former hostel due to close in October 2012. The purchaser, JMS Estates, intends a similar use for the building.
Whilst preparing for formal marketing we approached a number of specific parties from our comprehensive database of likely purchasers, which we have developed from other recent hostel sales. We were able to secure certainty early with a proven purchaser, without the cost of a formal marketing campaign, at a level our client was entirely happy with.
We have recently assisted our consultant Stephen Lansman, who advises a number of Housing Associations on Asset Strategy, in securing a number of sales of ex-hostels for this client including Princess Beatrice House, Old Brompton Road, London SW10.
