Milton Keynes acquisition for Toys R Us [01 November 2005]
TOYS R US (TRU) has successfully opened one of their largest stores in the UK. Totalling 47,554 sq.ft. TRU refurbished the existing Homebase on Grafton Gate. Ashwell Rogers advised on the transaction and handled the negotiations with the Landlord, Threadneedle Properties to regear the lease . David England commented “whereas rents in Milton Keynes on standard units have seen considerable growth particularly at the Kingston Centre, we were pleased to secure this unit at a rent in the teens!”
