Canterbury - Disposal for Rohde Shoes [27 March 2006]
Acting on behalf of Rohde Shoes (UK), Ashwell Rogers have disposed of their lease at 14 Mercery Lane in Canterbury.
Following active marketing on Rohde's behalf, a surrender of their leasehold interest was agreed on the back of a new letting to Ecco Shoes.
The shop which comprised a ground floor of 786 sq ft plus basement and upper floor ancillary accommomodation was held at a rent of £47,700 pax under a 20 year lease from March 1994 subject to five yearly rent reviews.
The landlord was represented by Churston Heard and Ecco Shoes by Harper Dennis Hobbs.
